Afriknot User Agreement (For Couples)
- Our Role as a Marketplace
Afriknot.com is a digital platform designed to help you discover and book wedding vendors. We provide the technology to connect you, but we do not own, manage, or provide the actual wedding services (such as catering, photography, or decor).
- Self-Verification: While we strive to host high-quality vendors, it is your responsibility to vet the vendor’s portfolio, reviews, and credentials before making a booking.
- Booking and Payments
- Platform Integrity: To ensure your payment is protected and to maintain the Afriknot ecosystem, you agree to complete all bookings and payments for vendors discovered on our site through the com checkout system.
- Off-Platform Risk: If you choose to pay a vendor outside of our platform (cash, private bank transfer, etc.), Afriknot cannot assist you in the event of a dispute, and your booking will not be covered by our support services.
- Cancellations and Refunds
- Vendor Policies: Every vendor on Afriknot has their own specific cancellation and refund policy (e.g., “non-refundable deposit”). By booking a vendor, you agree to their specific terms as stated on their listing page.
- Dispute Resolution: In the event of a disagreement with a vendor, you agree to first attempt to resolve the issue directly with them. If a resolution cannot be reached, you may contact info@afriknot.com for mediation assistance, though Afriknot is not legally obligated to provide a refund.
- Limitation of Liability (Our Protection)
Afriknot.com is not responsible for:
- The failure of any vendor to show up or perform their duties.
- Any property damage, personal injury, or dissatisfaction caused by a vendor.
- Any inaccuracies in a vendor’s description or photos.
You agree that you use the services of vendors at your own risk.
- Prohibited Use
You agree not to:
- Post fake or malicious reviews.
- Use the platform to harass vendors or other users.
- Create multiple accounts to manipulate the rating system.
